About Organic Bonita

Organic Bonita Salon & Spa first opened its doors in 2009. Tammy Pierce, the owner and founder of Organic Bonita, says the salon's name is partly inspired by Tammy's Puerto-Rican and French-Canadian heritage (bonita means 'beautiful' in Spanish), and by her desire to use only organic, chemical-free products on her clients. Centrally located in downtown Newmarket on Main Street, Organic Bonita offers a variety of hair care and facial waxing services.

Having been a licensed Cosmetologist for 9 years now, I knew very early on that I wanted to seek alternative products for long-term health of my clients, their children, and for me, the service provider. Learning of holistic lifestyle alternatives from my previous career as a full time Nanny, I was exposed and then practiced this healthy lifestyle...Hence, knowing I would research such products to incorporate into the beauty industry, Organic Bonita Salon & Spa was born!!!! Two years open and growing strong!!!
